I don’t remember what it was that I broke in the forums

but whatever it is I only see a minor problem in profiles right now that doesn’t affect the use of the site at all

and the Admin Panel seems fine to me

so fuck it I’m just going to start using the forums again

i’ve been using this purse for six years strong. i have no plans of ever replacing it.

My friend and I went to see Green Day in Van-city last summer. We were hanging out near yaletown coz its close to GM place where they were playing and thought we’d go to get the tickets. Anyways, we got them and wound up walking around the building. Climbing on fences. Jumping on concrete things. Shit like that. So we somehow manage to get into the back parking lot, and what do we see there but 3 tour busses with the blinds shut. So being slightly mischevious as we are, we decided to play nicky nicky nine doors. we ran around the middle one knocking on the windows. There was no answer, so we started on the other two. not five seconds after, we hear a door open, so of course, our flight instinct kicks in and all previous thoughts were replaced with “RUN”. Though as I am running away, I distinctly see Billie Joe himself, giving us not one, but TWO middle fingers from the door and saying something along the lines of fuckhead. It. Was AWESOME!

Y’ know, I’m not part of the GDF. I’ve had a Tumblr for a few months now and I just found the GDF and I just wanted to say that every member is amazing. Everyone’s a family and we all share the love for Green Day, which makes us awesome.

if you’d like to help get it running, and/or work on it on a “permanent” basis, volunteer your services with me - note: you do not have to be GDF to assist, and a hint to Haley that I’d like your help with it

help I am looking for:

• graphics, both drawn, pixels, Photoshop
• which means layout design for website/forum/wordpress, logos, smilies for the forum, banners, other pixels/minis, and more
• coding for website/wordpress
• coding for forum
• ideas for site
• ideas for forum (such as subforums, sections, titles, etc)
• possible future contests and prizes
• translators! I’d like it to be a multi-lingual site
• moderators and admins to police the forum
• translators for the forum and email, so if people ask questions we can answer them
• hopefully the forum will have multiple language SECTIONS??
• there were more “jobs” so if anyone remembers these or thinks of others to add or that they can do, let me know

original GDF will have separate sections of the forum than new GDF - this is for things like the meetup, future Secret Santa, other things you can be added to this with time (ie, like Dewy was)
